Do you feel like you think differently from others in a way they don't understand? Do you find that your passions and interests aren't acknowledged by those close to you? Being told by those around you that you should be a different person can be painful and traumatic and can create anxiety, self-doubt, depression, and identity struggles. This can be true for those who are neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, or in multicultural families. Transitions like young adulthood, becoming a parent, or relationship changes can also create uncertainty about ones' identity. It can be therapeutic to have a space to express and explore who you are.
